Labor Day The celebration of Labor Day may have lost its meaning to many people but not to those involved in your local union. Members of Local 633’s executive board along with general membership attended two events supporting the working men and women of New Hampshire. The annual Labor Day breakfast took place in Manchester with numerous labor friendly speakers including Governor John Lynch, senate candidate and former governor Jeanne Shaheen and N.H. Labor commissioner George Copadis. After the breakfast, the e-board along with more rank and file members took the trip out to Milford for the annual Labor Day Parade. There they joined up with two Joint Council 10 tractor trailers to show support for Governor Lynch’s re-election bid and former governor Shaheen’s run for the U.S. Senate. We would like to thank all the members, politicians and volunteers at these events who help show that the working people of America still have a strong voice and through their efforts it will be heard.
